Stringy vaginal discharge, called luekorrhea, may or may not be associated with vaginosis or vulvar vestibulitis. The amount of the substance increases when a woman is excited, under stress, or during exercise. Pregnant women register a greater amount of the liquids produced, which is caused by hormone activity. Thin, cottage-cheese-like flows or yellow-green flows with bad odor are abnormal. Stringy vaginal discharge, called luekorrhea, may or may not be associated with vaginosis or vulvar vestibulitis.
