Vaginal Discharge
A vaginal discharge is common with vaginitis and does not require a cone biopsy unless perhaps cervical dysplasia is present.
Women also register increased or decreased secretions. The latter are accompanied by dryness and pain during intercourse. Itching, burning, and redness in the genital area are also possible. Treatment is prescribed depending on the cause and is usually in the form of pills or creams.

Vaginitis is a condition accompanied by secretions different from those characteristic of a healthy organism. About one-third of women are said to experience this condition at least once in a lifetime. Normal secretions that are usually clear and odorless mix with bacteria and cells and become yellowish during a vaginitis outbreak.
