Lichen sclerosis vulva does not progress to a possibly cancerous condition as human papilloma virus can lead to ASCUS.
Genitals and anus are affected by plaques that form white crinkled patches. The disease is accompanied by swelling and itching leading to discomforts during an intercourse. Biopsy is needed to diagnose the condition. Steroids applications and liniment are recommended.
